Our local weaving, spinning and dying guild visited the farm today to practice some natural wool dyeing. We tie-dyed fabric with indigo using pebbles and string and wool with walnut husks and onion skins for the colour! We had over 30 people attend the day with lots of cake and tea consumed and Wendy the sheep got plenty of attention. Diana has been part of the guild for around 30 years and the group are regular visitors to the farm to get creative with wool.
